The UK-India Young Professional Scheme’s new ballot has been launched by the UK Home Office. Those who meet the requirements can apply starting on February 20, 2024, to work, study, and live in the UK for a period of two years. Under the UK-India Mobility and Migration Partnership, the program was launched in May 2021.
The candidates are allowed to spend two years living, working, and studying in the UK. The UK government releases the ballot for this year. It will start on February 20 at 2:30 PM and run through February 22, 2024. The UK government has released the ballot information for 2024, and it shows that 3000 spots are open for young Indian professionals to apply for a visa. Eligibility of the Young India Professional Scheme:
– You must be an Indian national or citizen and be younger than 18 years old.
– To sustain yourself in the UK, you need to have £2,530 in savings in your bank account.
– It is not appropriate to live with dependent children or to be financially responsible for them.
– You must possess qualifying qualifications at the bachelor’s degree level in the UK or a degree that is at least equal to the degree level of an overseas qualification.

- A proof of £2,530 in your account, such as a bank statement.
- A valid passport.
- Education qualifications proofs or certificates
- an Indian police report or clearance certificate.
- Tuberculosis test results.
How to apply for the Young Professionals Scheme?
- On February 20, 2024, the eligible candidates must appear on the ballot.
- You will receive an invitation to submit an application for a UK visa if you are chosen in the ballot.
- Get all your documents ready for the application procedure mentioned above.
- Once you have all the necessary paperwork, apply at the Visa Center or on the UK-India official website for the Young Professional Scheme Visa.

Typically, you will hear from the authority within three weeks of completing the application procedure. If your application is delayed or taking longer than expected, you can pay to have it expedited. However, only valid applications will be processed faster, such as those requiring you to attend an office meeting on a specific date.

- There is a healthcare charge for UK immigration that varies depending on your immigration status. This scheme requires you to pay a £1,552 healthcare charge.
Remember that if your application is rejected during the visa process, you will not receive a refund.
